Introduction
This article will describe the purpose and usage of Learning Role Groups.
Purpose Behind Learning Role Groups
A Role Group is simply a larger group utilized to segment any subordinate Learning Roles.
For example, should you have a number of Learning Roles such as a Trigonometry Role, a Calculus Role and a Geometry Role, these specific types of Learning Roles might be further contained within a broader Mathematics Role Group.
The usage of Role Groups allows for the simple and logical segmentation for various types of Learners.
Any individual Learning Role must always be contained within an associated larger Role Group.
At a very minimum, an Accord LMS come supplied with a default Role Group called 'Global Roles' which any Learning Role may be segmented under immediately without requiring the creation of any additional new Role Group.
The 'Global Roles' Role Group will always display any and all Learning Roles associated under all other Role Groups.
