Navigating Hierarchical Trees

 Introduction

To provide a clean LMS screen appearance the Accord LMS utilizes Tree Grids, also called Tree View. The Tree Grid is a hierarchical folder drill-down structure, using various storage folders. These folders can contain Child Folders or various types of content. Any folders containing Child folders are called Parent folders. Parent folders can be expanded to reveal Child folders and/or content.

Typically when logging into the Accord LMS, the system will open to a landing page.

The image below represents a typical LMS Landing Page.

There will be a menu of folders on the left-hand side.

Some folders within this menu can be expanded to reveal child folders,

Near the center of the Catalog Page there is a column displaying numbers of Catalog folders.

These folders will contain child folders and/or learning material.

The Animal Education Course folder is also expanded to reveal a child Chapter folder called Mammals, which has been highlighted to display it's learning material within the adjacent LEARNING CONTENT field. This learning content consists of 4 YouTube training videos.
