This article will briefly describe how to access Configuration - Diagnostic Trace and lists the available settings and features.
Purpose behind Diagnostic Trace
If certain SCORM-type Learning Elements are not functioning properly, when directed through Accord LMS Support, running a Diagnostic Trace can help your Support Team locate the source of the issue.
To Access Diagnostic Trace
- After logging in with LMS Admin credentials, click on the Catalog tab.
- Ensure the proper Current Team is selected. Menu located lower-left of screen.
- Expand the Advanced tab and select Configuration.
- Click on GENERAL OPTIONS.
The General Options panel will display.
Scroll down and click heading for DIAGNOSTIC TRACE to display it's features.
Diagnostic Trace
If some of your SCORM content Learning Elements are not functioning properly, you can enable a diagnostic trace which will help Accord Support isolate the specific cause of the issue. Only use a diagnostic trace when directed through Accord Support.
- Enable Diagnostic Trace: Check box to enable diagnostic SCORM tracing of Learning Elements within the LMS.
- Days to keep Trace Logs: Enter the number of days to archive Trace Logs.
- Show Track Logs: Check box to display SCORM Trace Logs, including diagnostic and error logs, in a pop-up Learning Element window.
- After making any desired settings, scroll near bottom and click Update.

Should SCORM-type Learning Elements not be functioning properly, setting a Diagnostic Trace can help Accord Support determine the cause of the issue.
