OpenSesame - Configuration

When using the Accord LMS, hovering over information icons displays helpful tips.

Introduction

This article will briefly describe the process of configuring your Accord LMS to have an OpenSesame Marketplace directly accessible from your LMS Catalog.

This will provide near-immediate access to various selected training courses for your organization.

The OpenSesame Marketplace is an online store which carries a large variety of online learning content. This allows for new training material to be quickly, easily and inexpensively added to your Learning Catalog.

Once this learning content has been purchased and added to your Catalog, it can be immediately used to help train your Learners.

Configure OpenSesame on your Accord LMS

• Login with LMS Admin credentials.

• From menu on left, expand the Advanced tab and select the Configuration tab.

• Once in the Configuration panel, click on Integration.

The Integration Page will open.*

*The number of different headings which might display on this Integration Page may depend on your specific level of LMS Admin permissions. 

• Click on OpenSesame Marketplace to open this panel.

Configure the OpenSesame Marketplace 

 In the OpenSesame Marketplace panel;

• Account Name: Enter the Marketplace account name.

• Account ID: You do not need to enter anything into this field.* 

*The Account ID field will auto-populate once the OpenSesame Marketplace is created.

• Hide Marketplace: Checking this box will prevent the OpenSesame tab from displaying within the left-hand tab menu. Leaving this box unchecked will allow the OpenSesame tab to openly display within the left-hand tab menu, allowing authorized LMS Admins to enter this marketplace for the purposes of accessing and adding new OpenSesame training courses. 

• Click Create.
• To complete the process, scroll near bottom and click Update.

After following directions from above, it will now be available thru a dedicated OpenSesame tab, directly accessible thru the left-hand tab menu.  

Access the OpenSesame Marketplace

• From the left-hand menu, click on the Open Sesame tab.
• You can begin your desired course selection purchases from here to quickly add training courses to your LMS Catalog.
