Instructions for Kore Update
This article provides instructions for Self-Hosted clients desiring to conduct a 'Kore' update to their Accord LMS v. 2021.02 or later.
Important
Before proceeding create a backup copy of your existing site and database.

Depending on your particular DNN install, the appearance or outlay of your various DNN menus or specific DNN related instructions may vary from those used inside this article.

Prerequisites: The following 2 modules must be installed; DNNGo.xPlugin and Kore skin theme.
To have these modules' installation files, please submit a support ticket to; support@accordlms.com.
Installation
After the 2 modules listed above have been installed, download the latest version of the Accord LMS from; https://accordlms.com/resources/product-download.

After Download
Login as Host.
Using the DNN menu go to SETTINGS and install the 4 following extensions;
- Accord LMS
- LMS Admin Catalog
- LMS Admin Roles
- LMS Admin Teams
After installation, verify the following modules were successfully installed.
LMS Configuration
Use the DNN sidebar menu and select Content – Pages.
Create 4 new pages for the 4 modules, a Catalog page, a Roles page, a Teams page and a Configuration page.
For Page Theme, set ‘Kore’ as default.*
*You must apply Kore theme to any pages where the LMS Admin Modules reside. This theme is optional for other pages. If you want to use your own skin it must have a bootstrap.
For Layout set to ‘insidepage’.
For Page Container set to ‘no title’.
Add each admin module to its corresponding page by clicking Add Module.
The available modules will display.
Place module ‘LMS’ on new page ‘Configuration’.
Place module ‘LMS Admin Catalog’ on new page ‘Catalog’.
Place module ‘LMS Admin Roles’ on new page ‘Roles’.
Place module ‘LMS Admin Teams’ on new page ‘Teams’.
From the ‘Configuration’ page, modify permissions of these pages to be visible only to the LMS Access Roles.
If new modules do not automatically connect with the Manager Module, access ‘LMS Modules Connections’ from Configuration.
Using the available dropdown menus, set each page and click Update.
If choosing to update any templates of the Learner Module to the Kore theme;
Go to LMS Learner → My Courses and select the Gear icon.
Open the Templates heading and update any Learner associated template to the Kore theme by using their associated dropdown menus.
